Can I change the startup EXE via FTP?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi guys,

I hope to be in the right section but I have an issue with mi cRIO 9066, I just want to change via FTP the rtexe that I've created in advance and I'm not able to locate the ni-rt.ini in my target device in order to change the run as startup file. Could someone help me?

Thanks in advance and I'll wait any feedback.

Hi,

You should be able to just replace what .rtexe is in the Startup folder at c/ni-rt/startup and I think this should work.

Also I would recommend starting a new thread if you continue having issues, as more people will see it if it's a fresh post. This post is originally a few months old.

Thanks Danile, I'll try to open another discussion...about your answer I think that could be an idea but in the folder that you told me there is more than one rtexe file so I think that there is another file where is written wich is the file to run at startup. This file should be ni-rt.ini but I'm not able to find it :).

Thanks for your time.

Fran,

As Daniel mentioned it is better to start a new thread, but the location of the ni-rt.ini should be etc/natinst/share/ni-rt.ini.

Hopefully this helps.
