Can I use an SQL Query in a Compact RIO?

I would like to exchange data directly from a CRIO-9074 to an SQL Database resident on a remote server. I was hoping someone could tell me if this will work before I spent $3k on the hardware.

The support for SQL is not natively supported by Real-Time operative systems from NI. However, there are some workarounds that will allow you to interact with SQL data bases. Please refer to the link below, specially the section SQLite for VxWorks.
