I haven't been able to find anything for Cole Parmer mixers. What kind of control/communication protocol does the mixer use? Depending on the communication protocol, there is likely a generic example that could help to get you started.

The mixer is manufactured by Caframo and is suppose to be hypertext and LabVIEW compatible.  Hypertext is able to receive info like the model name, number, and software version but is unable to transmit.  I've been in communication with Caframo and will post replies since this can't be the first time someone has dealt with this, nor would it likely be the last.

What do you mean by "LabVIEW compatible"? Does the manufacturer have a LabVIEW driver for the mixer? LabVIEW can be used to control all sorts of devices, but you still need to use some kind of communication protocol, like RS-232, RS-485, modbus, TCP/IP, etc. or by calling into a DLL from the device manufacturer.
