CompactRIO bus and backplane performances

Sorry ... can't find anything about:

1. CompactRIO backplane organization. In case if cRIO devices have different backplane structure  I have cRIO-9035 in hands.

2. CompactRIO bus performance. It looks NI-9205 module generates the highest amount of data. 250 kSamples/sec where each sample has 2 bytes. It means ~4 Mbps.

 

Also to program CompactRIO requires LabVIEW + Realtime. Maybe CompactRIO has like cDAQ mode? I mean transfer commands between host computer and module?

Hi Vasilich2004,

I'm not sure what information you're looking for as far as the cRIO backplane. Could you elaborate on what your actual question is?

As far as the bus performance, communication over Ethernet works at either 10, 100, or 1,000 Mbps, with the chassis automatically selecting the rate based on how quickly data is being collected.

As far as programming your cRIO, it doesn't work like a cDAQ. I've included a link to the Getting Started guide for cRIO, which discusses how data is communicated between the host and target. I would also recommend looking through the LabVIEW Example Finder for example cRIO programs.
