Connection of cRIO 9012 with Cloud

Hi everybody,

We would like to connect our measurement setup to the Cloud. In particular, we would like to use our cRIO 9012  controller with a 9102 chassis. The installed C-modules are:

• 2x WF3169,
• 2x NI9205 and
• a NI9211 TC module.

The measured sensor data shall be continuously (e.g. every second / minute) be send to a Cloud gateway (e.g., via the MQTT protocol). Down sampling logic would, e.g. be simply picking the xth signal. For transmission of the data, we would like to use a router (e.g. RUT360) with mobile network connection.

I have two questions:

1. Does the above HW setup (in particular the router: RUT360) make sense to you? Are there any "restrictions" on which routers we could use w/ cRIO 9012?
2. What the best way to implement / deploy the data transmission / down-sampling logic on the cRIO? We have little experience here. Sorry if this might be a "stupid" question 😉
