Hi everybody,
We would like to connect our measurement setup to the Cloud. In particular, we would like to use our cRIO 9012 controller with a 9102 chassis. The installed C-modules are:
- 2x WF3169,
- 2x NI9205 and
- a NI9211 TC module.
The measured sensor data shall be continuously (e.g. every second / minute) be send to a Cloud gateway (e.g., via the MQTT protocol). Down sampling logic would, e.g. be simply picking the xth signal. For transmission of the data, we would like to use a router (e.g. RUT360) with mobile network connection.
See also the architecture sketch below:

I have two questions:
- Does the above HW setup (in particular the router: RUT360) make sense to you? Are there any "restrictions" on which routers we could use w/ cRIO 9012?
- What the best way to implement / deploy the data transmission / down-sampling logic on the cRIO? We have little experience here. Sorry if this might be a "stupid" question 😉
Thanks for your support and advise!
Kind regards
Andreas
