Hello Haifei, I hope all is well.
I see you have already taken a look at the requirements documents. National Instruments does not typically suggest specific PCs for customers to purchase for obvious reasons. However, what you can do is go to an electronics store with the requirements and I am sure you will get someone who will be able to pick something good out for you.
Another option might be looking into getting a PXI system. So as opposed to using a desktop ETS target, you can get one of our PXI chassis and controllers. This will typically serve as your Real-Time Target. It will be easier to setup and configure and at least you know you will not run into incompatibility issues.
You can find information regarding the different chassis and controllers we offer here (chassis) and here (controller) respectively.
Please let me know if you have further questions.

Haifei and carlson,
Good day! My sincere apologies for just now finding out that PCIe is not supported in RT. Please go to ni.com and fill out a product suggestion. We truly look into these and our R&D team takes these suggestions very seriously.
At this point, I am not sure when PCIe boards will be supported on RT so I cannot give you a definitive answer.
My apologies for being the harbinger of this news. Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi there,
I am also working on a similar application, I would like to do some feature tracking using a 1024x1024 150fps camera in real time, with a PC and PCIe-1429 under ETS. Funny because it s NI that recomanded this config too me and now I find out that it wouldn t work.
Did you find any solution to your problem. If you do, I would be interested.
thanks
Lukasz

Hi all,
Beginning with NI-IMAQ 3.6, which released on the NI Vision Acquisition 8.2 distribution, we now have support for the NI PCIe-1429 and NI PCIe-1430 running on PC-based LabVIEW RT systems. We regret any confusion this may have caused earlier, and I hope that the timing allows this to still be a viable option for your project. The full installer can be found here:

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or problems regarding this issue.
Best regards,
Chris
