Hello,
I just have this error by running a VI.
The error message tells me to check if the shared variable engine is installed on my target (a compact rio 9022). This is indeed the case, see Attachment 2.
The network connection seems valid since I can access the RIO from MAX.
I search on the internet and I found it advisable to disable the firewall in Windows XP. My firewall is disabled ... it does not come from there.
Is someone have an idea of where the problem may come?

2. Apps installed on RIO
