Does labview development behave derterministicaly on a real time OS ?

I want to use LabVIEW to implement a closed loop control on a system.

* Is it possible to install LabVIEW on a real-time OS such as RTLinux? Would I have some trouble with I/O card drivers? Would the programed VIs behave deterministicaly with non-RT I/O cards?

* Is it possible to use a PC with non RT-PCI cards as a RT target for LabVIEW RT?

Thank you for your answers,

-- It is not possible, or at the very least not supported, to install LabVIEW on RTLinux. LabVIEW Real-Time applications run on a National Instruments Real-Time target such as PXI, FieldPoint, RT DAQ. Not only is this the case, but we currently do not support most NI hardware in Linux.

-- A PXI controller with non-RT specific PXI I/O cards can be used as an RT target as mentioned above. A standard PCI-based desktop PC cannot be booted into the NI RTOS.
