Does the MPC5200 processor on the sbRIO 9611 support SSE2 instructions?

Solved!

I am setting build specifications for a startup application to be deployed to the sbRIO 9611. I don't know whether or not to check the box that allows SSE2 compiler optimizations. Does anyone know if the processor on this platforms supports SSE2?

I checked this article already: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvconcepts/sse2_caution/

It is not listed in the list of NI hardware that specifically doesn't support SSE2, but I don't know if it really supports it or was just overlooked when that list was made.

Thanks

Hey Reederoo,

It seems the MPC5200 was designed as a power PC architecture and SSE2 was designed for X86 architecture, so the sbRIO 9611 wouldn't support SSE2. I would suggest unchecking the box that allows SSE2 compiler optimizations. I will take the necessary steps to see about getting our documentation updated. Thanks!
