Error 1000 occurred at an unidentified location

If think this Real-Time Measurement and Control is not the appropriate category. Better would be PXI or Labview Embedded but I'm not able to change the category anymore.

Hi,

my FPGA program does not compile anymore. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I use Labview 8.5.1 and PXI-7813R.

Error before compiling:

An internal software error has occurred. Please contact National Instruments technical support at ni.com/support with the following information:

Error 1000 occurred at an unidentified location

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  The VI is not in a state compatible with this operation.

Error log after labview restart is in attachments.

Kind regards

I got a new idea why the error 1000 occurrs.

I use digital outputs on a FPGA_SPI_write.vi. If I use this VI just once in one state of my state machine the compiler can start without problems. When a second state uses the VI, starting the compilation leads to error 1000. Because the FPGA_SPI_write.vi is never called at the same time the digital outputs are set to "never arbitrate". It makes no difference concerning the compiling error 1000, if the VI is reentrant or non-reentrant.

I hope there is someone out there who has an answer to this.

 Thanks for your reply.

The Problem is, that I did not program the server, which is opening my files. It's the FPGA compile server from ni. Therefore I can't change anything there but just in my FPGA-Vi's. So I'm not shure if I understand a possible solution with the link you gave me.

Files copied to the clntTmp-folder for compilation are corrupted:

Clock references and IO-nodes and the corresponding wires are affected.

Maybe I have to do similar work like descibred for "error 1063" in this forum on my FPGA-vi's to get the compiler working again.

Hey SoaDA,

please post your hole project as well as the max protocol i will check the program.

(MAX protocol open the MAX and  select "Datei\Protokoll" erstellen and always "weiter")

This is also possible for the rt target.

Choose the RT Target under Netzwerkumgebung

Kind regards,

Elmar

Hi Elmar,

I would prefer to send the project just to the NI-support, not to the whole forum because of IP-reasons. I'll do that by email with my service-request number.

Ok no problem.

Please post your email adress so that i am able to contact you directly.

Because i didnt find an email entry in the database because its a forum question.

And not an email question: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niae_asc.main?lang=D

Kind regards,

Elmar

Please for the future doesnt use two support channels with the same questions. Because two different resources deal with the same question.
