Sam, What happens if you try to connect the 1st PC and the DAS PC with the cross cable? Is the DAS PC detecting the 1st computer? Have you by any chance disabled the network card?

Hi,

I am able to get the connection between 1st PC and DAS PC using crossover network cable. I am sure that the network card is enabled.

Thanks.

Hi Sam,

What happens if you connect the two computers and the cRIO to a router, and set the computers and the cRIO to pull DHCP?

I think this is a software issue, what software components must be installed to get this to work?

cRIO Software Requrements

1. LabVIEW Development System

2. LabVIEW Real-Time Module

4. LabVIEW FPGA Module (Optional if using scan Mode)

3. NI RIO driver.

These components should be installed in the order listed (RIO must be installed /updated last)

What about with the run-time engine?

All you need to install is the four (or three) components listed.

(BTW the LVRTE installs with LabVIEW development system)

I'm trying to do this with the run-time engine only. No dev environment.

If you are just trying to modify the IP address, you only need NI-RIO. This will install MAX and provide all the functionality necessary.
