I want to acquire data from an external A/D at a rate of nearly 80MHz. I want to use a PCI-7813R. I must use the external clock.
Can this be done with this Hardware? Has anyone done it?
I have been programming FPGA s in LabVIEW for over a year butI can't seem to make this work.
Not even when I slow the clock way down. Is there no way to incorporate an external clock?
I would have thought to use a "wait for rising edge" on the pin designated as a clock, then read the 16bit data in parallel and then stuff it into a FIFO and repeat.
Would this have to be done in a SCTL? if so how can I synchronize to an external clock?
