High speed continuous acquisition using cRIO and LV8 with shared variables ?

Hi,

We have recently purchased a cRIO system. I am wondering if there are any updated examples like in the link below, but for Labview 8? The link below seems to be for LV7.1.

I am trying to do exactly what the above example does, only I am using Labview 8 and would like to know if there are any advantages in using shared variables for this purpose and/or if someone knows of any examples on how to do this?

I would like to use 4 analog input channels on a 9201 C-series module with our cRIO. I would like to sample each of the four channels at 80kHz or more. Is this possible? I need to log the data to a text file. With the code I have written myself, some of the data gets lost somehow and I can't figure out what's wrong..

Any help would be appreciated!
