How can I log data to disk from the PCI-7030/6040E Real-Time DAQ board?

Once I have acquired data with a DAQ operation running on the PCI-7030 (or PXI-7030), how can I log that data to my hard drive?

Since the 7030 boards have no hard drive, you cannot perform file I/O with the VI that is running on the 7030. Instead, you should run a second VI on the host concurrently to communicate with the VI on the 7030. Using VI Server, TCP/IP, or shared memory VIs, you can transmit data to the host VI, which can then log the data to the host computer's hard disk (see attached VIs).
