How to connect a USB sensor to the SBRIO 9632?

Hello

Thanks for reply

concerning the issue of the wireless router connection:

I bought a small router with rechargeable battery and  I connect it to the kit though the RJ 45 with a cable comes with this router

I connect my LAPTOP through WIFI to this network.

So now I am having a wireless connection to the ROBOT and this router has its power

BUT whe I tried the HARDWARE setup to make the first steps of downloading a software to the robot...I got errors..

So I tried The Ethernet Cable which is in the robotic starter kit package and I connect it directly from the LAPTOP to the ROBOT, the hardware Setup works fine and sucessfully doploy the software and I tested the PING ))) and the MOTORS....

NOW My question I wanna control and communicate with this robot without this long cable (Noting that I dont want a router which needs its POWER source)...I mean I do not need wires

HOPE it is understandable......

Thanks

Does the sbRIO have an IP assigned to it i.e. is it registered by the router?  If yes, are you able to see the RIO in MAX when connected to the wireless router?

Hello

Yes The Robot has an IP, But when I use the Hardware wizard, it gives an error and I couldnot complete, I mean after this Wizard detects the ROBOT ( IP ), and I press next to start to deploy the software, it starts copying files and then stops and gives an error and ask me to reset the sbRIO and press back, I tried alot but when I used Ethernet cable , it succeded.

Really I am new to sbRIO and to MAX, I never used MAX.

But this means that I can deploy the software using MAX without the ethernet Cable direct connection and using wireless router......HOPE it works

Thanks for your help

No, I didn't say that.  MAX is not used to deploy the software.  It is a utility for accessing and configuring hardware.
