Now MAX knows the device but IP addresses on MAX & LV project do not match(as attached) should i write it manually on MAX?

Hello AutonomousMode,

no problem, normally we use the ip adress from the MAX and set this in the LabVIEW

project explorer under properties general to the cRIO, to connect them.

  i'm trying to read the data from a laser scanner using the ACT/LINK port(sick LMS100),but i don't exactly know how to read data. What kind of file is the output?  a text/graghic file? Do u know an example that could help?i attached the simplest example, but about Sick, i found nothing so useful in datasheets. Can u plz refer me to some useful docs?

We do not have an example for it, but you can try to contact this

persons from VolksBot Lab they should have one.
