I experienced a power failure while installing operating software on my cRIO-9068.
I can connect to the cRio in NI MAX, but now get the following error message when trying to format the device or install new software:
"Installation to the specified target has already begun. Multiple installations are not allowed at the same time."
I have tried resetting both the target as well as my PC without success.
Restarting the target in safe mode did not help.
When trying to upgrade the firmware, I get the following error:
There was a problem updating the firmware for this device.
Error code: 800407E2
I found a support page indicating that I have to run NI MAX as an administrator, but this did not change anything.
Does this mean the cRio is bricked?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I've only done that a couple times and each time I was able to resolve it by entering safe mode. From there, I was able to format the system. Can you hook up a serial port to the unit? There might be some clues there.
