Pricing policy

Not sure where to put it but since it is mainly about cRIO I'll drop it here.

Does anyone have thoughts about prices on second-hand equipment? For example a cRIO?

Should one take a full price or maybe 75% or 50% for a unit/module that has been running for a few years?

When one thinks about equipment degradation. What components would breakdown more frequently?

Are there system components that you don't even consider reusing but just buy new?

I am thinking about a situation when a project is closed and equipment that is left can be reused at another place.

Heya,

The prices of the used cRIO depend on the lifecycle status of the product (active, mature, obsolete) you can find this on NI.com, active lifecycle products can be sold with 75% but be careful they might be faulty sometimes so it is always recommended to buy new with warranty from NI's distributors or NI.com
