Hi,
sorry, this might be an odd question, but I'm totally new to LabVIEW.
I have the 2012 version. In the end I want to be able to run a LabVIEW program which collects experimental data. This data should be evaluated with an *.m file and with the results the parameters of the experiment should be altered.... Do I need the NI Real-Time Module for this? And do I need the MathScript RT Module? (I have a licensed version of MATLAB)
Thanks!

hey Keks,
at first you can use "MATLAB Script Node" in LabVIEW to execute scripts.
But when you want to make Real-Time Measurements on a RT-OS than you need the Realt-Time Module.
The MathScript RT Module can be also very helpful.
Do you thought about to get in touch with NI Sales Department?
I think that is best way to get the best advice for selecting your modules covering your application.
Best regards,
Mike
