Shared Variable for a Digital Waveform

I created a .hws file on my local workstation using Digital Waveform Editor and would like to now use that file on a  Real Time PC target  with a PCI-6259 Board.

I thought I would simply be able to use a shared variable, but a digital waveform shared variable type does not seem to be an option.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Rick,

You will need to extract the data out of your HWS file using the HWS palette available in the NI-HSDIO driver [1]. With the VIs in this palette, you'll be able to open the .hws file you created and then pull out the data type in which you saved it. From there, you can send that information to your shared variable.
