Sound Recorder

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a good sound sensor for one of my project. I will hit rocks and collect sound data. I am now currently using a (Zoom) H4N Pro sound recorder and the microphone comes with it. Any suggestion here to use any sophisticated microphone that goes with this recorder or a different package? It has to be portable and battery powered.
