At the moment I trying to work in a plant  I used to control with matlab , but now I want to control it with  LABVIEW , and I would like to know the differences about working with these 2 softwares ...........I am looking forward for your anwsers ...... Jen1,

I can't tell you the difference between both products, but I can appoint where you can find information about the System Identification Toolkit for LabVIEW. If you go to our website and search for Manuals about System Identification, here is what you will find:

In LabVIEW, if you are trying to control a system, you would be better to have the Control Design and Simulation Module available for LabVIEW. They allow you to analyze the plant obtained with System Identification and develop and implement a controller. Here is the documentation for these products:

Let me know if you have some specific questions.

In the LabVIEW you can use MathScript that has the same function of the MatLab and to have this tool it does not have no additional cost.

Hi Jen1

On the manual (Alex put the link above) you have the algorithms implemented in the tool that can be used. You can also implement your own algorithm as templates are provided.

Hope this helps
