I unable to connect to a cDAQ-9138 using NI-Max, the cDAQ-9138 is running labview real-time 18.0.1. In Ni-Max I get the following message "The device at this address is not supported by the drivers installed on the host". Does anybody know which drivers I need to install?

Hi Mitchhack,
NI-DAQmx is required in order for you to communicate with the cDAQ.
The version of NI-DAQmx that you require depends on what Operating System you're using as well as what cDAQ modules are being used with the cDAQ-9138.
NI-DAQmx 18.0 supports the cDAQ-9138 and LabVIEW Real-Time 18.0.1 as long as you're using Windows 10/8.1/7 SP1.
This information can be found in the readme page.
However, I would recommend that you check that your cDAQ modules are also supported with this version of NI-DAQmx.
If not, you can check which modules are supported in which version of NI-DAQmx on the NI-DAQmx First Available Hardware Support page.
Please see Device Not Supported Error Setting Up NI Network DAQ Device for some other troubleshooting suggestions if this error persists after installing NI-DAQmx.
Thanks,
Ellin

This was resolved by installing the 2017 device drivers.
