Rif.: Watchdog cannot be deployed on c-RIO target

Hello everyone,

I'm not able to deploy vi containing watchdog to c-RIO 9042 Linux RT System Image 2025 Q1.

As soon as I try to deploy my RT VI I gor the following error:

Deploying Watchdog Add Reset Action.viWatchdog Add Reset Action.vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed.

At first I thought it was my mistake in implementing the watchdog, that was very possible, being this first time for me to implement this feature in a cRIO RTvi.

I then tried to open the NI example project from my installed library, which I expect to properly work.

But also with that I wasn't able to deploy a watchdog to my cRIO, error received during deploy:

Deploying Watchdog Acknowledge.viWatchdog Acknowledge.vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed.

Again issues in deploying watchdog library components.

Any suggestion for solving this issue?

Hello everyone,

I solved it in the most logic way.

I found the NI Watchdog package available from the Add/Remove Software feature of the MAX under my Target:

A just added and issue was solved.

Sorry if I was too hasty in opening the post.

I hope this helps someone anyway.
