I have a cFP-2220 controller running LVRT 8.6.1 and am attempting to communicate with an instrument via TCP/IP using VISA.
The controller is set up with the secondary ethernet port enabled and on a different subnet as the primary port. The ethernet based instrument is configured correctly on the same subnet as the secondary ethernet port. When I attempt to open a VISA session on the RT controller I get error -1073807343 (Insufficent location information or device is not present in the system).
The TCP settings for the instrument have been verified and I can connect to it using the same LV driver from a WinXP platform on the same subnet as the cFP secondary ethernet controller.
The connection string is using the standard VISA notation (TCPIP::10.0.0.2::INSTR)
I know the driver works, I know the instrument works, anybody have any ideas why LVRT on the cFP controller can't connect?
A reformat and reinstall of the controller sw did not change things.
