cRIO-9045 dead? no LEDs on power-up

Hi community,

I have a very simple issue with my cRIO-9045. When I took it out of its application this morning a red LED was on. Stating the manual this indicates over-temperature. However the cRIO was cool.

I power cycled the cRIO multiple times and nothing happens. Also tried different power supply and verified supply voltage. Only a very low humming noise (probably completely normal) can be heard. No LED coming on whatsoever.

Any idea what I can do?

Regards, Jakob

Sounds it likely is a hardware issue, I would try to disconnect all IO modules, ethernet cables, etc from it and check power cycling again.

Assuming it does not appear in NI MAX (long shot LEDs are burned), no Ethernet port lights, no LEDs turn on. Then RMA would be the way to go.
