cRIO 9068 + Scan Engine Support Error - Even though it is installed on cRIO, after deploying error says its missing

On the other hand, when I tried to deploy the modules the first time, a dialog box showed up saying some modules require the Scan Mode to be Active.  It also had a drop down box that allowed you to change to Active mode or stay in currrent mode.  The first time I chose to switch to Active mode, this time I stayed in current mode.  Does anyone know if selecting to change to Active mode in this case would cause problems with deploying modules?

I would recommend you create a new Post to address this that is a completely different issue. I can tell you that it is actually recommended have the Scan Mode in Configuration when working with EtherCAT:
