cRio doesn’t restart

I’m developing a Host application to interact with a cRio RTM. The cRio RTM stop responding while I’m connected to him by remote panel and now it doesn’t restart. I’ve tried all reset possibilities. The power led turns on but the status led never turn on again, and I can’t communicate with the RTM module while he doesn’t restart correctly.

At the beginning I’m used a 9004 CPU and then I tried a 9002 and the same happened.

I’ll appreciate any ideas to solve this problem!

Thanks.

Here are a few things I recommend you trying to diagnose the problem.

- Verify the power supply is correctly connected to the controller
- Verify the power supply you are using meets the cRIO Controller specifications
- See if you can discover the controller from MAX
- Turn on the "Safe Mode" dip switch in the controller and reboot it; see if it shows in MAX
- Reset the Network Configuration of the controller (could be that the controller is failing to get an IP Address from the DHCP server)
- Check for the status light to see if it indicates that the flash card has been corrupt (if so, use MAX's Format Disk feature)

For information on how to do these things, refer to the following CompactRIO 9002/9004 Operating Instructions:

Hope this helps.

Hi, tanks for you help.

But my problem is not with power or MAX, the problem is with RTM module. When I apply power (24Vdc) to the module the power led comes on and nothing more happen, it should start network and so on… but it didn’t do anything more and I can’t see him on MAX.

With IP reset or Safe Mode switch turn on the status light never turns on or blinks, as so I don’t have error information!
