Hi experts,
I was wondering if someone could tell me (in a nutshell) the difference between the FPGA module and the real-time module.
My understanding is the FPGA module facilitates LV code that can then be targeted at specific RIO boards, I have used this a little in the past.
The real-time module I am a bit more unsure about, all I know is that it allows for creation of a "real-time" i.e. time deterministic environment.
My application is this: I wish to have several control loops running on two RIO boards, with the host PC mainly being used for logging of data and UI business. So as far as I can see I do not need RT on the host (Win XP should be fine).
Do I need the RT module???
