error code: -61046 in 7831R DAQ card

Hello,

My system was working good but now suddenly it started to give error message

error code:-61046 

Labview FPGA : An error detected in communication between the host computer an FPGA target.

I am using Labview FPGA 8.5  PXI with Windows Xp operating system.

Hi,

Please provide the following details so that the problem can be narrowed down.

Did you change anything before which you started getting this error?

Is this error consistent or is it that you get this error only sometimes; in other words what is the nature of the error?

Does this error occur when you are trying to program your FPGA after compilation or it occurs when the code is running and suddenly it stops communicating with the host computer.

Are you able to see your 7831 card in MAX?

Can you try restarting LabVIEW; and also the system if possible?

This error occurs sometime. I have made installer for my application. I run exe file of my application on this PC. I have not installed labview on this PC. We haven't done any change to that PC. System was working fine 1 year back now it has started giving an error. Error occurs while application is running.

Can you please provide some more details..?

This error occurs sometime - Is it like there are times when your application runs without any error?

I have made installer for my application. I run exe file of my application on this PC. - When you made the installer did you make sure that you installed all the required installers; when you made the installer before was it working that time?, have you tried using this installer in any other PC?

I have not installed labview on this PC. We haven't done any change to that PC. System was working fine 1 year back now it has started giving an error.  - When the system was working fine 1 year back, did you have LabVIEW in it?

If you made the installer of your application and if you have the source code with you can you try running it from LabVIEW rather than the installer, see if it works.
