moving average of decimal values on fpga target

I am familiar with the fixed point tookbox but now which function you would use to implement moving average differently than the one I suggested .  What did you use for a solution?

you might be right, we never ended up validating this with decimal values.

we ended up dumping the fpga, its just to complicated to learn in limited time
