"Start Web Server" button is no active

Hello, I got problem with start web server. I want to publish my VI. When I use web publishing tool, "Start Web Server" button is no active. I have already enabled webserver in webserver options. Thanks a lot Martin

Hi Sichra,

What happens when you finish with the Web Publishing Tool Wizard? Are you able to go to access your Remote Front Panel? Is the html site placed onto your Real Time Target? If you have already enabled the Web Server, then you may not need to enable it in the Wizard. Can you tell us more about what is happening?

Hi Hillary, thanks you for interest, now I know that server is running. But I have acess to the page from remote PC only. (no from PC where is server running). So, no big deal. But here is one thing what I need to know. In the attachment is my code. I try remote measurement with control power supply and save data to hard drive. But when I start measure from remote PC, I get no data. No ask for folder where save data..I dont know where are they? Because is one of conditions from start measurement and getting samples..

Hi Martin,

So, your attached vis were a bit confusing. However, I think the important thing to note is that with the Remote Front Panels all you are doing from the remote computer is accessing and controlling the front panel that is running on your host computer. You aren't actually running that vi on your viewing computer and you aren't saving the data either. On your remote computer, you should just be going to an http site.

Thanks You, yes data are not saving on remote PC, but to current webserver folder. So solution is to use ftp for transfer ftp or use report to html. I am going to try it 🙂 thanks, Martin.
