sbRIO-9651 USB device usage

Hello!

sbRIO-9651 has USB Device which allows user to configure/update the target. It appears as Ethernet over USB connection.

Is it for management only, or it can be used as secondary ethernet for a user DAQ tasks?

I am inclined to think that the ethernet over USB, requires a windows driver of some sort to make it work. You might need to check with NI on that.

I've seen the development board for the SOM and there are native USB & ethernet ports. I would use those (with a network switch for the ethernet port) for communication with cDAQ chassis.
