upgraded and lost simple pid

I recently took over an old project we had sitting around the lab where we use an automated dual torch welder.  My problem is that the computer with the program on it was upgraded from labview 6 to 7.1 and now one of the vi's used in the program is gone, the vi is called simple pid.vi and was contained in the following directory...  labview6\examples\daq\solution\control.llb\simple pid.vi  Is there an equivalent vi in 7.1 or is there somewhere I can get the old labview 6 vi file?

Hello,

You will want to make sure you have the latest Traditional DAQ driver installed on your PC.  This driver should have been installed after LabVIEW was installed so that LabVIEW can correctly link to all of the driver's files.  I believe this example comes with the driver because it is in the \examples\daq folder.

Have a good day,
