Hi Greg,
Attached is the same library saved down to LabVIEW 8.6. Remember to use the top level vi as a replacement to the DAQmx Perform Shunt Calibration (Strain).vi. The bug lies in the fact that you are unable to use SCB as your shunt circuit for calibration, even after selecting SCB as your desired shunt circuit. The vi should perform just fine with SCA, but if you wish to select between SCA and SCB, I would direct you to use the attached library.

Good idea. I had that thought at one point, but alas it evaporated at some point. So I tried it out, now selecting first:
Here's the results:
1. off, we get zero strain
2. sca on, we get 570 micro-strain as expected (100K ohm sc resistor w/ 120 ohm gages)
3. scb on, no effect as before (should be 5000 micro-strain with the 11,880 ohm sc resistor that's installed on scb)
So, still not getting SCB to close in the same fashion that SCA does.
