AI Clock Config error with PXI 6052E and SCXI

Hi Hal L.,

After replacing the faulty 1520 module, both traditional as well as DAQmx VIs are working properly.

Hi:

I also have a previously working system and I am using the same 6052E DAQ card with 5 SCXI-1520 modules and getting the same error = 10685.  In my case I have tried to use one SCXI module at a time and in each case the error re-occurs and I get the same NaN values. This made me assume that the SCXI chassis could be bad because I could not see how all five 1520 SCXI modules could go down at the same time.

By the way: I tested channel zero on the 6052E DAQ card with a regular battery and determined that the DAQ card was able to read channel voltage accurately. So I think my DAQ card works OK.

Question: were you able to repair the SCXI module. If yes what had failed that got replaced?

Thanks

Anthony L.

Hi Anthony,

It sounds like you have followed all the normal troubleshooting steps. I would suggest that you now try troubleshooting the SCXI chassis. I have provided link below that will aid you in troubleshooting the chassis.

If everything checks out with the chassis, you might try another SCXI chassis if possible. Other possibilites are the connector block, or cabling. Try changing these also if it is possible

I hope this helps!
