I've been working on measuring the energy consumption (which would be order of 15-25 milli Amperes) of our Board. I'm using PCI 6115 DAQ card for my measurements. This DAQ card is definitely more efficient than the internal ADC of the Micro-controller Unit (MCU). MY acqusition is finite Acquisition. I've been measuing the signal with a sampling rate of 10Msps for 1 sec and based on the requirements I may decrease the sampling period. I've played with different signal conditioning functions in LabVIEW. Now, it's the time for me to apply these signal processing concepts (functions) to extract the data that I need by removing the noise. As I said, the data I'm acquiring will be the order of millivolts. I'm confused about the things I should concentrate inorder to do some analysis on the data I have. If you have any knowledge on efficiently utilizing the signal processing tool box in LabVIEW, please help me. Any suggestions (or) description of your works related to the "processing of the low power signals" would be appreciated.
