Can I use 6115 measure DC or low frequency signal

Solved!
Go to solution

I use NI 6115 to DAQ, if in put singnal higher than 100 Hz, the result is very good.

But if the frequency lower than 10 Hz, the result is not right.

I try MAE, and choose DC coupling mode, it still can not measure DC signal.

What I can do? or the NI6115 just can not measure the DC or lower frequency signal.

Thanks

Hi xsfl,

I was going to say to take a look at this article, but it seems you have already set your coupling. Does this happen on all channels? What are the characteristics of the signal you are trying to read? Amplitude, frequency, etc? Also, are you using the PXI form factor or the PCI?

Best regards,

I have try AI0 and AI2. No different.

I want to meansure the amplitude. I using PCI.

Is there any setting I need change on the board?

Thanks

Hi xsfl,

Thanks for trying the other channel. I meant to ask, what are the characterstics of your signal? Is it a sine wave, what frequency, what amplitude range? Also, have you been able to measure low freq signals before or is this the first time you are trying?

Also, be sure that you are sampling above the mininum sampling rate, 20kS/s, as per the specs.
