Can I use a SCC-FT01 with an external 15vdc excitation to read a load cell?

I have a SC 2345 and several SCC-FT01 modules that I would like to use with a load cell (full bridge). When I supply an external excitation voltage, the analog input responds, but there is a lot of noise. Is there a way around this or must I purchase the SCC-SG04 Modules?

Jake;

The noise is not happening because you have an external excitation. That external source might be inserting some noise though.
I'm attaching an Application Note that talks about noise. That might be usefull for your application.

I use the 15 volts excitation from the SCC itself. There is an unused screw terminal on the FT module that you can wire to the 15VCD pin in the SCC. This can all be done inside the FT module. Look at the pin layout for the FT to find out what pin to wire to. Make very sure you are not exceeding the current supply capabilities of you SCC.
