We have a PCI-6052E DAQ board, SCXI 1001 chassis, SCXI 1121 modules, and SCXI 1321 terminal blocks. We are monitoring strain gages, load cells, and potentiometers cabled to the SCXI 1321 with shielded (foil plus drain shield) cables. My experience with other data acquisition systems would lead me to cut the drain shield at the sensor, and connect the drain shields to the chasis ground connectors at the SCXI 1321. If this is not appropriate, please provide suggested connection of drain shield.
