Hello complexity,
You can certainly use the SCXI-1300 connector block to measure current, but you must have your own precision resistors, and connect them outside of your terminal block. The SCXI-1308 connector block has built-in 249 Ohm precision resistors to make that process a little easier. Keep in mind, the SCXI-1102 module only measures voltage, not current. So this is why we must convert the current to a voltage (by sending the current through a resistor) before we acquire data. After acquiring the data, the driver does the math to determine what current the acquired voltage value corresponds to, based on the value of the resistor.
