DAQ 6220 phase measurement

Hi

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on how accurate phase difference metering between 2 signals using an m series 6220 on LabVIEW actually is.  This DAQ does not sample simultaneously so one could deduce that the phase difference would take in account the time of multiplexation from one channel to another.  Does labVIEW know this and takes this time in consideration or is that an error I have to deal with mathematically???.

Hello Nandoman. Maybe the following web page is what you need to measure phase. Try it.

I hope this information will help you.

Hello!!

Thanks very much Pedro!.  I used de FFT vi to find out magnitude and phase for each harmonic component for my power quality analyzer instead, that saved a lot of work since doing it the traditional way I'd had to filter each frequency with a notch filter and then analyze it separately.  I am about to use the power analyzer I've built on a substation in my university for some power quality studies, the first tests gave results that matched with a commercial analyzer 🙂
