Find the standard model number in MAEX for a pt100K N1515 RTD from Omega

Hi, gentlemen,

I purchased some PT100KN1515CLA RTDs from Omega and intend to use them in a vi controlled DAQ system. They will be connected to SCC box with SCC-RTD01 modules. However, the MAEX shows standard RTD model numbers such as PT3750, etc for me to select from. Just some hot test tells me that the room temperature is 3-4F different if I select different numbers. Do you know which number I should use?

Thanks a bunch!

Danian,

Not sure exactly which one you should choose for your RTD, nor do I know where you can find that out. What you can do is, pick one that gives you as close to actual readings at room temp, or even better yet you can configure a custom RTD type to match your actual sensor. You do this by choosing "Custom" in that RTD type drop down menu. Then you have to enter in the proper coefficents. Some more information about this can be found in the following Knowledge Base.

Hope this helps,
