How correction factor works in DAta compression

Hi all,

I am trying to reduce data recording rate by using Sample Compression  vi''s reduction factor from 1 kHz to 1Hz. Seems worked to 10Hz but couldn't be lower the rate.  

Here is the results

Correction factor(Size)     Data size

     1     (1k)                           60000 data point/min- 1kHz

    10   (100)                          6000

    100  (10)                           600

   1000  (1)                            600

  10000(.1)                            600

I have no idea why.

Hi Jae,

If I may ask how are you getting the data sizes, and are you using the Sample Compression Express VI. It would help more if you can post your code.
