How do I feed a sensor with +15VDC from a SC-2345?

I want to connect a sensor outputting 4-20mA to a SCC-CI20 in a SC-2345. How can I feed the sensor with 15VDC from the SCC-2345?

You could use the power module in the SCC-2345, if you got the right one: SCC-PWR02 or SCC-PWR03. These will put out +/-15V. I just looked on the spec sheet for SCC-2345 to find this. Otherwise you could use any decent power supply - just ground everything properly.

Remember the SCC-2345 is signal conditioning equipment, not sensor power supply equipment, so your mileage may vary if the available features aren't exactly right.

SCC-PWR02 has a max of 1 Amp.

I am not sure what SCC-PWR03 can do. It only gives an efficiancy rating. I assume that if you give it 10 Amps at 42VDC you will get out 4.6 Amps at 15VDC (spec says 46% efficient at 15VDC out).

As far as how to wire it up inside the SCC-2345 using the power modules, you are
on your own. I haven't done that yet. I have SCC-PWR01 but I usually get power from the power pins of the 20 position headers. (A DMM was used to find them. A comprehensive circuit schematic for the SCC-2345 is not available to my knowledge.)
