scxi1126 - Frequency to Analog with strange values

If I only connect my board (SCXI1126), in the MAX I have values depend of the data-range
For example:
0-100 Hz Response: 58Hz
0-1000Hz Response: 236Hz
0-10000Hz Response: 3781Hz
But it isnt connected any sensor, only the SCXI1126 and the SCXI1327.
Every channel gives me an other value. If I connect a sensor, the value remains constant. Is it possible, that the card has a defect?
The Threshold-Parameters doesnt change the values
What happened?

Hello,

Is there a particular reason that you are concerned with the behavior of your device when nothing is attached to it? The performance of a floating input is not known. Usually, the internal capacitance rails to a high or low limit because of existing charge within the devcie. This is why anytime you are trying to troubleshoot your actual system setup you will want to have your sensor correctly plugged in.

If you are having problems acquiring the correct information even with a sensor connected, make sure that you are first of all troubleshooting in MAX and confirm your signal connections and hardware are correct by looking in the product manual. If you're still having problems post back to the forum and I'll try and help determine what might be goi
ng on.

Cheers!

Thank You Jared

There were two Problems:
In the Hardware configuration: The Frequency-Voltage Card has switches 1:100/1:1. I used the 1:100 configuration so my signal from the Rotary encoder was to small.
The other problem was the version of DAQmx (7.2)! With the update at 7.3 the data were correct. In the version 7.2 I had a factor of 100 in the Signal results.
