I have a Quadrapole mass spectrometer attached to a vacuum chamber. i was wondering how I could reduce vibrational noise in the mass spectrometer signal that is attached to a computer using a RS232 connection. Would a low pass filter work or do I need something else? It is an analog signal so I was looking at the analog input low pass filters but I am not sure what frequency I would want.
