How to measrue a portion of voltage range with 5122?

PXI with Scope 5122.

I got signal with range=[1.6v .. 5.2v]

So in general the settings on 5122 should be 10Volt range (thats give 2.3mvolt rms ~ 12bit resolution) .

But i got special requirments to take a sensitive noise measurements around 4.8Volt. i want to be in scope range=0.2V (with 50uV rms).

i understand that there is built in way in the scope to use the 0.2V range measuremnet arround 5V.

so what is the simple circuit that can offset the voltage before it enter to the scope?

ofcourse i meant to say that there is no built in...

Hello HaD,

If you would like to measure this signal that seems to have a large DC offset and would like to use the .2V range you could use AC coupling to get rid of the DC component.  I'm not sure if this is exactly what you would like to do as your signal will now be in the range of 0-.2V rather than up by 4.8V, but if you simply would like to read the amplitude, or RMS, value of the signal this is one way to do it.  Please let me know if I may have misunderstood.
