I don't understand the addressing on the SC-2345 Carrier

I am using an SCC-TC02 thermocouple module with an SC-2345 signal carrier.  The SCC-TC02 is plugged into Analog input 2/10 on the carrier.  I wish to monitor the ampflified temperature signal coming from this thermocouple module with an oscope.  I should be able to do this at the terminal block on the carrier.  I am looking at the pinout on this terminal block (located in http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/371064d.pdf  page 2-2) I see nothing that coincides with analog input 2 or 10.  I do not undestand how this addressing works.  Which screws on the terminal do I need to connect with?

Thanks,

Hello,

The terminals on the SC-2345 carrier are used to access digital and PFI lines that can be used for digital I/O and triggering.  Unfortunately, you cannot access the analog input lines with those terminals.

I do not know of a way to access the voltage amplified by the SCC-TC02.  What is the reason that you want to do this?  If you want to read the voltage in software, you can do that from this module, instead of reading the temperature value.  Would this help?  If you want to try this, you can use Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) to create a voltage task or you can run a shipping example that reads voltages.  In either method, you would specify the module as your physical channel, for example SCC1Mod1/ai0.

Hope this helps,

Laura
